Camp Glenorchy will operate 11 months a year in the stunning setting at the head of Lake Wakatipu, providing the ideal setting for business and school group gatherings, educational workshops, unique wedding experiences and family reunions. Watch this space for postings of open positions during the latter half of 2017, as we prepare Camp Glenorchy to open in late December 2017.
We are seeking an energetic, friendly, customer service-oriented Retail Salesperson for Mrs Woolly’s General Store in Glenorchy. Mrs Woolly’s General Store sells a wide range of beautiful specialty gifts, unique clothing, basic housewares and fresh, healthy to-go foods. The larger Headwaters Project, currently under construction in the picturesque township of Glenorchy adjacent to Mrs Woolly’s General Store, includes modern bunk cabins, a community kitchen and amenities building.
We are offering a permanent contract with variable hours subject to operational and seasonal requirements, 25-40 hours per week. Well-appointed staff accommodation may be available in Glenorchy.
Applicants need to meet the following requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience in retail sales and merchandising
Second language an advantage
Passion for delivering excellent customer service
Appreciation for beautiful high quality products
Hands-on, hardworking approach and a “can do” attitude
Able to prioritise and show initiative
Legally able to work in NZ
