Located in one of the most beautiful places in New Zealand, just 45 minutes north of Queenstown, The Headwaters is the umbrella organisation that hosts the newly-built Camp Glenorchy cabins, Mrs Woolly’s General Store & Pantry, and Mrs Woolly’s Campground.

We are looking for our first Managing Director to oversee all aspects of leadership, finance and operations to fuel the success of three socially-responsible businesses.

Camp Glenorchy, launched in March 2018, is New Zealand’s first Net Zero energy accommodations built to the most rigorous sustainability standards in the world. Mrs Woolly’s General Store opened in January 2015 and has been called by NZ House & Garden Magazine “A quiet revolution in retail... a destination for home-made gelato, organic produce and beautiful, high-quality giftware.” Mrs Woolly’s Campground serves seasonal tent and caravan campers at the head of Lake Wakatipu, gateway to Mount Aspiring National Park.

This is an extraordinary opportunity to take the helm of a multi-faceted hospitality and retail business and to work with its founders, leading the business from the start-up phase into revenue optimisation and triple-bottom-line sustainability.
